Our missionaries keep us up to date through newsletters which are posted in the Missions Hall at the church, phone calls, and via Facebook. We also hold Monthly Missions Moments, which are held on designated Wednesday evenings. Once a month we set aside a time to hear an update from those on missions opportunities. It is our chance to stay connected, informed, and encouraged. Technology helps with face-to-face meetings without incurring travel expenses and keeps those who are out of sight, in our minds and hearts. If we can coordinate timing, we will have a Missions Conference where our supported missionaries and organizations are here in person.

We support these dedicated missionaries who have committed their lives to God’s work around the world. From spreading the gospel, providing essential food, to educating youth, they embody the compassion of the hands and feet of Jesus
Isaiah 6:8 – Here am I Lord, send me.

Our dedicated group of people and organizations help the less fortunate who live here in the US.

This is an international organization and we specifically support the agape efforts of the group working with the maximum security facility of St. Clair.
Comprised of several non-profit chapters worldwide, we support the “Kairos Inside” retreat of the Alabama Chapter as part of our Judea.
Kairos Inside is composed of well-organized and well-trained volunteer teams of men and women from the communities surrounding an institution who present an introductory 3-day weekend, described as a short course in Christianity. This inter-denominational team of volunteers - both clergy and laypersons - works in cooperation with the Chaplain who carefully selects up to 42 inmate leaders to attend. Well organized follow-up is part of this program.

Participants in the New York City Ministry missions trip discover the power of hands-on gospel outreach through their immersive one-week experience, energized by Spread Truth’s innovative training and resources.
Attendees minister to diverse backgrounds, guided by seasoned evangelists. Leave with renewed passion and a reshaped perspective with courage and encouragement
to share the gospel and grow in your faith.
During that week, you will be participating in evangelistic prayer with strangers, asking strangers to add to The Story Wall, Conducting Worldwide Surveys with people on the street, and distributing food to those in need. This is an annual event held in July.

No kid sleeps on the floor -- the mission statement of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP).
SHP is an America-wide, chapter-based non-profit that facilitates the building and delivery of beds for kids with the help of volunteers. (There is a formal approval process for applicants.) This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for a local mission opportunity. Just reach out directly to any of the chapter contacts; we periodically sponsor a bed build for our church members to participate in a local missions opportunity.

We have several others around the world who are striving to share the gospel in their daily lives yet are in areas where it is safest for them if we do not advertise their specific locations. Please pray for all of those serving around the world - for safety and the right words to share as they spread the gospel!
